Amateur Radio keeps on changing and if the Suffolk Data Group
is to keep fresh, we have to change too. It would be all too
easy for us to clutch on to traditional data areas of activity,
where it is obvious there is going to be a downturn in interest
due to the competition of the Internet and E-mail facilities.
That is not to say that we have abandoned supporting our traditional
packet radio activities, far from it, UI-View is still evolving
and we are still committed to expanding the coverage where
we can. This along with RTTY and other data modes still leaves
us with plenty of 'hands on' projects to get our teeth into.
